Roll-out of broadband to Kilmacanogue still on schedule for October 2009
Following on from our original story on the rollout of broadband to Kilmacanogue in Co. Wicklow, eircom have confirmed that this is still on schedule for October 2009. Eircom PR state that:
"Having consulted with our network engineers, I can confirm that the current provisional schedule for the enablement of the Kilmacanogue exchange is for the period September - October this year."
However the statement goes on to say:
"I must stress that this broadband roll out schedule is a provisional schedule and is therefore subject to change."
We remain hopeful that this will be delivered in the next few weeks.
