Safari users get stuck during bookings...
A number of our clients have complained about the Irish Rail online bookings site. If you go to www.irishrail.ie and try to book a ticket using Safari, you get stuck on the seat allocation page.
You can select a seat, but when you try to click on "Continue" to move to the next stage of your booking, it fails and you can proceed with the booking.
This is not the case when you use the Firefox web browser. Firefox is always a good alternative when there is an error with Java and secure website problems. However this still doesn't solve the issue for the majority of Mac users, who generally rely on Safari for the web needs.
We have contacted Irish Rail and pointed out the error. We will post any reply we receive.
