Promised in 2005, delivered in 2006...?

Mac Information is particularly interested to see if Microsoft makes any announcement about Entourage 2004 at the MacWorld Expo this month. At last year's Expo, Microsoft announced that they would integrate Entourage 2004 into Apple's iSync technology. They also promised to allow Entourage's database to be indexed by Apple's Spotlight technology.
Adding Entourage to iSync would allow for contacts and calendars to be synchronised with Apple's iCal and Address Book, meaning that personal contact info and calendars from Microsoft and Apple applications could be synched to your iPod, PDA or mobile phone. However when we followed up on this in the autumn, we heard from Microsoft this year that this feature was now due in the first half of 2006 [read full story].
We hope that any updates to Office 2004 will include this feature. Microsoft had stated that this would be available for Office 2004 and not simply held over for the next major Office release for the Mac.
