Speeds reach 3 Ghz...
Apple have refreshed its range of iMacs, the top selling desktop Mac. The new range comes with faster Intel Core 2 Duo chips, and three of the four models have 2GB of RAM built in.
For customers in Ireland there is good news on pricing- the new range is cheaper than before, with prices falling by around 150 euro. There is no change on pricing for the UK, indicating that the strong euro has had an effect.
The top of the range iMac comes with a 24 inch screen, a faster NVIDIA GeForce graphics card, and tops 3 Ghz for the first time.
All models have the same aluminium casing, and all are reported on the Apple Store as shipping within 24hrs.
More details available from Apple Store for Ireland or the Apple Store for the UK.
