Speed bump for Apple's Pro laptops...
Apple have added the faster Core 2 Duo chip to its pro line of laptops, the MacBook Pro. The Core 2 Duo is the same chip used in Apple's iMac line.
The range now comes in 3 models: 2.16GHz (2019 euro), and two 2.33 GHz versions (2519 and 2829 euro). The RAM included as standard has also been increased. The 2.16GHz model comes with 1 GB, which the top two models have 2 GB.
Build time is currently listed as 4 days. The new models are available from Apple suppliers or from the Apple Store for Ireland.
